Ingredients

  • 60 ml tequila
  • 60 ml lime or lemon juice
  • 30 ml low carb simple syrup see recipe below
  • 2-3 drops orange extract/essence
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • Kosher or sea salt

Instructions

  • Run a lemon/lime wedge around rim of glass of choice
  • Dip glass rim in salt if desired
  • Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and strain to serve
  • Can be blended to create a frozen margarita

Low Carb Simple Syrup

  • Gently boil 1 cup of water with 1/4 cup powdered Stevia Blend Sweetener or suitable amount of alternative sweetener for 5 minutes.
  • Store in a sterile glass jar in the fridge for up to 2 months.
