Sugar Free Tomato Salsa

Sugar Free Fresh Tomato Salsa

This easy to make Sugar Free Fresh Tomato Salsa is made with fresh, simple ingredients and contains no added sugar. It can be made by hand in a chunky style or you can simply blitz all of the ingredients together in a food processor for an instant, smoother sauce. If you don’t have any limes, simply swap them for lemon juice or an additional dash of vinegar or ACV (apple cider vinegar.)

How To Use Sugar Free Fresh Tomato Salsa

Use this salsa as a simple dip on its own or use it to accompany Mexican food such as tacos, quesadillas or a Low Carb Mexican Salad Bowl. Try lavishing it on top of nachos or for a simple guacamole dip, simply mix some with a mashed avocado and a little additional salt.  This tastes delicious served on seed crackers for a healthy snack or lunch.

This salsa is a fresh salsa with lighter flavors than any store bought salsa you may have tried. I also have a recipe for a Sugar Free Salsa Picante that tastes more like the salsa you would buy in a jar from a store It is a lot richer in flavor then the fresh salsa and it will last a lot longer in the fridge and is also suitable for canning. I use both of these sauces a lot at home so it’s worthwhile knowing how to make them both. Note that the Picante recipe will last for up to a week in the fridge, and can be bottled or canned as well. I like to make it in bulk and freeze it in zip lock bags to defrost when I want to use it. This Sugar Free Fresh Tomato Salsa recipe will only keep for about 4 days in the fridge.

I hope you love this simple recipe.
