A simple to make Mexican Spice Mix. You will never run out again. Made from ingredients that most of you will already have in your cupboard, with no additives such as sugar, fillers or preservatives.

How To Use Mexican Spice Mix

Use this delicious Mexican Spice Mix in your favorite Mexican recipes such as Chile Con Carne, Burrito’s, Fajita’s, Taco’s or for a delicious meat rub. I use this  spice mix as a rub on beef brisket in this recipe for Slow Cooker Mexican Beef Brisket and, it’s delicious and really simple to make.

Create a quick and delicious Mexican Salad Bowl by cooking some beef/turkey or chicken mince off in a little oil with a couple of tablespoons of Mexican Spice Mix and a couple of teaspoons of minced garlic. Make a simple salad with lettuce, tomato, red onion and red peppers. Spread the cooked mince hot or cold on top of the salad. Top with a couple of tablespoons of Salsa Picante or Fresh Tomato Salsa, a dollop of sour cream, some chopped jalapeno’s and some grated cheese and dinner is ready.

Try using this spice mix in Low Carb Cauliflower Mexican Rice or make some stuffed green peppers and fill them with some Mexican mince using the spice mix in this delicious Low Carb Mexican Stuffed Peppers recipe. The rice dish and the stuffed peppers actually go really well together as a meal. You would be hard pressed to guess that the Mexican Rice was actually made from cauliflower. It’s amazing.

Other Spice Mix Recipes

There are a couple of other spice mix’s that you can make from scratch as well. There’s a lovely Moroccan Spice Mix which I use often for dinner and then there’s a lovely BBQ Spice Mix that is fantastic to use as a rub or marinade and actually makes the most amazing Sugar Free BBQ Crispy Chicken Wings, served with a delicious dipping sauce.

These spice mix’s make life so much easier.
You will never buy them again once you start making them yourself.
