Guacamole dip that is such a simple to make, healthy and delicious dip. Made from one of the healthiest fats, avocado, it can be used as a snack, as a spread, or can be added to a main meal or salad. Try using it as a side dish, or simply served for breakfast with fresh eggs. This recipe is well worth the little amount of time it takes to make. You can also check out the quick recipe option below for when you just don’t have the time or perhaps the ingredients to be able to make the guacamole dip below.

Guacamole in a hurry!

If ever you are after an instant guacamole recipe and you really don’t have the time to put much effort in, you could simply add some Salsa Picante sauce to a mashed avocado with some additional lemon or lime juice and salt to taste. If you don’t have any home made salsa picante on hand, use a store bought one but just make sure that there aren’t any preservatives or sugars added. Thankfully manufacturers are starting to produce more sugar free products so they are becoming a little easier to find.

Both the guacamole in a hurry and the fresh guacamole dip recipe are perfect to use in your Mexican cooking as a side or simply to serve as a healthy dip. I love to serve this dip with one of my low carb cracker recipes, such as Low Carb Seed Crackers, for an instant healthy lunch or snack option. It is also delicious served on top of a Low Carb Mexican Salad Bowl or simple Mexican salad. If you want to make low carb corn chips to go with this delicious recipe then check out this recipe https://tmp.02b.myftpupload.com/keto-microwave-corn-chips/ or watch the recipe video below.

Stop your Guacamole from Browning

If you ever have any left over guacamole that needs storing, simply squeeze a tiny amount of lemon or lime juice on top of the guacamole and place a piece of cling wrap on top of the bowl with excess cling wrap hanging over the sides. Push the cling wrap right down onto the guacamole so that there is no air in between the wrap and the guacamole. Make sure this is done over the whole area of the dish, and then bring the cling wrap up and over the sides of the bowl, sealing off any air from getting to the guacamole. It won’t last for days like this but it will get you an additional day out of the guacamole without it browning.

Delicious!
